Answer first
For every mode, identify three things before the round: what happens when a Hider is found, how roles change, and what condition ends the round. Then adjust how much risk your team can take.
Mode / 01
Normal
Use as the baseline for practicing complete disguises and disciplined zone searches. Hiders can evaluate a spot without role-conversion pressure.
Mode / 02
Infection
When the current rules convert found players, information can spread. Hiders should value isolation and route unpredictability; Seekers should coordinate zone handoffs.
Mode / 03
Double
Treat any two-sided or paired-role rule as a coordination problem. Confirm the current win condition, then reduce duplicated searches and exposed pair movement.
Verify the current lobby rules
This site does not freeze exact timers, ratios, or conversion behavior without a dated primary source. Check the current lobby UI and in-game explanation, especially after an update.
01What is MECCHA CHAMELEON?
MECCHA CHAMELEON is a multiplayer hide-and-seek game built around painting and posing a chameleon-shaped character to blend into the environment. Check the current Steam page and in-game prompts for current platform, player-count, and control details.
02What should a new Hider learn first?
Learn the order Spot, Shape, Shade, Stillness. A strong color match cannot rescue an exposed location or a recognizable body outline.
03How should a Seeker search?
Search in deliberate passes: sweep a zone, compare repeated shapes, confirm suspicious differences, then reset your angle. Avoid bouncing randomly between rooms.
